Why are your courses for women only?

The Catapult Club is currently only open to women. The experiences have been tailored to meet the specific needs and wants of women. We are looking to develop our courses to create something specific for teenagers and perhaps, eventually, even men.

Can I attend one of your workshops or weekends on my own?

Many women attend both our residential weekends and day courses on their own. At our weekends about half the women tend to come alone, others with a friend, mother or sister. The atmosphere is always very supportive and most make new friends during their weekend away.

There’s a group of us, can we get a discount?

How do I book?

Please fill out the booking form and provide as much information as possible. We will then contact you by your chosen method (phone or email) to confirm and take payment from you once you have checked our terms & conditions. If you prefer not to fill out the form, you can of course give us a call or just drop us an email.

How do I pay? Is it secure?

We can take payment over the phone. The card payment is processed through an HSBC secured payment site. Please note there is a 2.4% charge for paying by credit card. There is no charge for paying by debit card. Alternatively, you can send us a cheque payable to the Catapult Club LTD.

What do I need to bring with me?

For our residential courses you will be provided with a full information of what you will need, at least two weeks before the event. We will also let you know if you require anything specific for our shorter workshops.

What shall I wear?

Further details will be provided with your booking confirmation, but the most important thing is that you are comfortable.

Will I be provided with any notes from the course?

All guests on our weekend courses receive the beautiful Catapult Club Manual, covering everything taught during the experience, plus a whole lot more additional information. All those attending our shorter workshops will be given detailed booklets of their experiences.

What will the Catapult Club membership entitle me to?

You will gain access to our members’ only site, where there will be photographs and special offers. There is also a message board here so you can keep in touch with all the new friends you have made.

If I have to cancel, will I get my money back?

We have a cancellation policy and the refund depends on the notice you give us. You will find more information in our Terms and Conditions. We are of course human beings and understand that life throws up unexpected obstacles. If there is a genuine reason you cannot attend and wish to change the date, we will endeavour to accommodate this if at all possible.

Can anyone attend or is there an age limit?

Any woman over the age of 18 is welcome to the Catapult Club.

Can you provide vegan/vegetarian food?

We certainly can. Please let us know of your dietary requirements when booking.

I have wheat/dairy/lactose intolerance, can that be catered for?

When booking please tell us your dietary requirements. We will endeavour to cater for you.

I have a medical condition or a disability, what do I need to do?

Please speak with us and let us know if there is anything we should know. Where possible we try to ensure that our venues are fully accessible.

I’m pregnant, can I still take part?

Contact us for more information. Some of our courses, such as the self-defence will involve strong body contact and may therefore not be suitable. Please seek advice from your doctor.

Can I bring my children?

Unfortunately we do not have a crèche facility available. You can, of course bring your daughter, provided she is over eighteen.
